This is my pal Aarianaa. She's one of the kids in children's church. We got to hang out after church today.

After I took Aari home, I headed over to the church to watch the choir kids. They are certainly superheroic...Ninja Turtle Liam, Princess Finn, & Power Ranger Ethan

I watched Liam, Finn, and Callum tonight so Bridgette and Bryan could go out. This was about the best shot I could manage. They weren't particularly thrilled about having their pictures taken...

Some of you may remember my coworker Sarah with her saw from my post January 24th. Tonight she had a show at the @Spot cafe. Here she is playing a limberjack (yes, that's limber not lumber; nice play on words though).

Basically, a limberjack is a loosely jointed wooden man that dances on a piece of wood as she hits the wood, which she is sitting on. A lumberjack is a man who cuts down trees in a forest (e.g. Paul Bunyan). Strange but delightful!

So I didn't actually take these pictures, my mom sent them to me, but they captured the day.

John-Paul and Kara were both in Cleveland, so they all went out to eat and sat at a table for 5... my chair was empty! So they sent me pictures of them.

Story of Love is over... bittersweet. Not so bittersweet is organizing and putting away all the props. But, with Katrina's help (I so love that girl!) everything was done in a somewhat timely fashion.

Happy Easter!



Pia invited us over to her place for Easter dinner. We had such a wonderful time talking and eating. Pia made a delicious pistachio encrusted lamb. Lindsey brought the most scrumptious brownie trifle. It was all so great!

So this was fun. Ronnie (and I think some other people) came over to watch basketball. It's spring break for a quite a few people, but not me, unfortunately. So I got home to everyone leaving. We decided to go see Susie-qusie at Starbucks, then headed over to Penny's for dinner... Ronnie's first adventure there! Then back home to chat for a bit and send everyone home to bed. Self-portrait at the end of the evening. Not my best... Susie is missing an eye and Ronnie looks kinda lost in the back.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER!!!

Heather's birthday is tomorrow, so a group of us went to Glazed Expressions to paint some pottery. I painted a 3-eyed monster. I'll be sure to post his picture when I get him back.

Heather's birthday is this week. Amanda knitted this for her. It's a hat that becomes a neck warmer! She made us model it for her.

Julie recommended this Thai place to me a really long time ago, so Amanda and I tried it today after church. It was really yummy! I had this really great spicy coconut chicken soup, which I managed to splash all over my shirt.

I have classes downtown at the Gleacher Center this week. I've been here almost three years, but still love wandering around downtown. This is the view from outside the Gleacher Center.

Katrina joined me at the church to finish up the props for Story of Love. Poor thing, she stained a huge stack of baskets and even though she had gloves, she ended up staining her fingers too!

We had Story of Love rehearsal immediately after church. It was a really long day, so some of us went out for treats after.
